New Cultural Centre and Library in Caboolture

The Caboolture Town Square was revamped several years ago, with the library and new Caboolture Art Gallery providing a pleasant place for local residents to spend time. The Hub, as the new facility is known, has something for everyone, from art exhibitions and workshops to conference and business meeting facilities. It overlooks Town Square in the Caboolture CBD.

Ideally located with ample parking space and bus stops and the Caboolture Train Station nearby providing public transportation options, its attractive surroundings coupled with the modern facilities it offers has made the Hub popular with locals of all ages. There’s even a cosy coffee shop, Benny’s Cafe, where you can grab a coffee and a bite to eat while enjoying the scenery.

Art Exhibitions

If you appreciate art, you’ll find that the Caboolture Hub Gallery (also known as Caboolture Regional Art Gallery) has plenty to offer. In addition to exhibitions by local artists, the gallery has attracted some notable art exhibitions, including a Brett Whiteley showing in 2017 which was very well-received and attracted visitors from near and far. Along with the main gallery, a beautiful room with high ceilings and wooden floors, there are several smaller exhibition rooms.

Caboolture Library

Council libraries offer so much more than books these days and the Caboolture Library at the Hub is no exception. In addition to a wonderful collection of fiction and nonfiction books, the library offers DVDs and other media, including a great selection of audiobooks and magazines. And with the library’s new location, it’s often quite busy and bustling on Saturday mornings.

The Hub at Caboolture is more than a place to get something to read, it’s a great place to spend time. What’s more, it’s situated less than 10 minutes’ drive from Thyme Lifestyle Resort Moreton Bay.
