Morayfield Property Prices

The Morayfield and Caboolture areas are one of the most popular areas in Queensland to relocate to, with a steady stream of people from interstate seeking affordable accommodation in an area with good public transportation and an ideal location halfway between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. Morayfield property prices have shown strong growth over the past few years which is expected to continue as house prices continue to rise across the state.

Why Morayfield?

Morayfield is a popular place to call home for a number of reasons, including its great location. Located roughly halfway between the Brisbane CBD and the Sunshine Coast, it’s an easy commute to the city and the world-class beaches at Caloundra and Noosa are never far away.

Bribie Island is also a short distance away (roughly 30 minutes) and a wonderful place to visit again and again. Woomera, the surf side of the island, boasts a beautiful white sand beach with a surf club and pub offering senior meals two of the better food and drink options. Pumicestone Passage, on the other side of the island, is breathtaking at sunset and ideal for gentle walks. There’s also a great BYO fish and chip shop where you can enjoy a meal on the water and take in the view as the sun sets over the passage with the Glasshouse Mountains as a backdrop.

Morayfield is served by a network of buses and there’s also a train station a short distance from Morayfield Shopping Centre and Thyme Lifestyle Resort Moreton Bay, with trains departing to the city at least every 30 minutes on weekdays and half-hourly to hourly services on weekends. With the exception of weekday mornings and afternoons on Morayfield Road, there’s little congestion in the area and the M1 is a short distance away.

The area boasts numerous facilities that make retiring to the area appealing, including a bowls club, a variety of sports clubs and the Hub, the new library, art gallery, business and community centre, in the Caboolture CBD. The major shopping centre is Morayfield Shopping Centre and there’s also a smaller shopping centre in Caboolture on King Street.

With its ideal location, excellent public transport and facilities, Morayfield property prices will remain strong and make retiring to an over 50s lifestyle community like Thyme Lifestyle Resort Moreton Bay an appealing option for those looking to lead an active and rewarding lifestyle.
